 In my last post I mentioned about my participation in  the virtual exhibition "India's First Woman's Art Fair" organized by Art Awareness Foundation and World Art Fair. 

I am very happy and proud to share the good news with you all that I received 'First Woman's GLOBAL ART ICONS"

 I had been quite busy last two months and my precious blog left neglected. We had our big festival of lights, Diwali but before that I completed 8 mixed media paintings which I had to submit for a virtual art fair. Then travelled to Netherlands to attend Graduation ceremony of my younger daughter. Coming back got busy with my house painting. We are still in the process right now but today I found a quite place in my room to post . 

I got selected for the virtual exhibition "India's First Woman's Art Fair" organized by Art Awareness Foundation and World Art Fair. Here is a glimpse of my paintings in the exhibition and also a link :

 Hi all. Though I promised of posting my works regularly , couldn't keep the promise due my new found interest, mixed media art. I spending more time in creating these art works on paper and on canvas and want explore more. I somehow managed to post on Instagram.

Spaces...by Indian artist Manisha Vedpathak

When I was making paper batik, the paper was torn while it was still wet. I was about to discard it but then thought that it will create a fantastic effect with spaces created in between. Hence decided to collage it on black paper and here is the fantastic work. I just love the texture batik creates. My colleague from Art Lane suggested the title. Would love to have comments on how you feel about this artwork.
