Back to writing!.....by Indian artist Manisha Vedpathak

Back to Writing – After a Beautifully Busy Break

The last time I wrote a blog post was back in 2023. Since then, life has been a whirlwind—beautifully busy with all things art.

I launched my YouTube channel, starting with a special series titled Art in Healthcare, where I interviewed eight insightful doctors. Their thoughts on how artwork positively impacts healing spaces truly deepened my belief in the power of art. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/@manishavedpathakartist

Soon after, I took my first steps into the world of art business. I joined BNI (Business Network International), a global networking platform, which opened doors to connecting with potential clients and understanding the business side of art. Though I haven’t officially registered my business yet, I’ve been laying the foundation with all the initial steps.

One of the biggest milestones was finally setting up my own studio—a long-overdue dream. It has made client meetings smoother and given me the space to showcase and speak about my work more effectively. I will post some pics of the studio in my next post.

Amidst all this, I continued working with my wonderful curation team. Together, we hosted another vibrant group exhibition titled “Tell Me a Story,” featuring nearly 40 talented artists. The event spanned three days filled with creativity, connections, and community.

Community Work for the exhibition

This year began on a high note with a large painting project for a resort—almost 60 artworks of various sizes created just for the space. In between, I’ve also been working on commissioned pieces and fulfilling client requests.

Oh, and I must mention—I got my website up and running just before I joined BNI. Another step forward that I’m truly proud of.

Honestly, with everything happening, I simply couldn’t find the time to write. But I’ve missed it. So here I am again, promising myself (and you!) to write more regularly—if not daily, then at least weekly.

Thanks for reading, and see you next week!
